Residencial Club de Golf Villa

Designed in traditional Mexican architecture, the white stucco villa that we have rented at Residencial de Golf is everything that we need for our five month stay. We look out onto the first fairway of Marina Vallarta Club de Golf and are often entertained by with our casual observations of the golfers. There is a pond beside the green that causes a few of them a lot of frustration.

Lucas and Gordita

Lucas and Gordita are our neighbours cats, they don't actually own them but the cats decided they liked how they were treated by Susana and decided to stay. She feeds them and sometimes other cats in the complex. Lucas, the orange one, is very friendly and often appears on our doorstep looking for kitty-pats.

Le Kliff Restaurant and Bar

A forty-five minute drive south from Puerto Vallarta is the restaurant and bar, Le Kliff where we had lunch. The restaurant tiers down the cliff, providing a spectacular view of Banderas Bay. A specially designed grass covered terrace provides the most beautiful and romantic setting for those choosing to have a unique destination wedding.
The waiter told us of often seeing the humpback whales and was fortunate to watch one female give birth to her baby right below the cliff.

Chico's Paradise

Chico's paradise, a place to get a great meal while overlooking a point where two rivers meet. Years of flowing water has carved huge rocks into rounded boulders and during the winter, dry months, the water recedes allowing you to see more of them.

Marco Antonio performs death defying stunts by diving into the pool of water at the base of the rocks.
