Puerto Vallarta's El Malecon Boardwalk
The iconic Malecon is Puerto Vallarta's most popular attraction for tourists and locals alike, day and night. It extends from the central Hotel Rosita all the way south past the River Cuale to Los Muertos Beach. As you stroll over the walkway's intricately tiled pavement, you'll see many statues including the giant seahorse which is now a symbol of the city. Enjoy a drink or meal in one of the many restaurant bars that line the boardwalk or are situated right on the beach. Sit on one of the benches and enjoy the sights and sounds.

Two days after our arrival in Puerto Vallarta, Sam took me to Café des Artistes to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant is one of the best in Mexico, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the whole evening was memorable.
