Marina District Thursday Evening Market

Every Thursday night there is a market in the marina district with all sorts or Mexican crafted products, jewelry, food and baked goods. The Marina restaurants are well patronized, musicians entertain the passers-by and the weather is usually pleasant.

Andale, Hotel Restaurant and Bar

We went for the bar experience and had a blast dancing and people watching. This casual restaurant is located on Olas Atlas near Playa de los Muertos and is a local hangout and a good spot for an afternoon beer. Andale becomes quite a 'party place' around 9 pm when they crank up the music, mostly from the 70's and 80's, and the theme song is Living Next Door to Alice. The crowd chimes in during the chorus singing the line, "Alice, Alice, who the f**k is Alice!". The dance floor is packed with a crowd mostly ranging from 40 to 60+ years, I call it 'old folks gone wild' and if you like to have some fun, it's a great place to spend a bit of time.

Nacho Daddy

Langostinos for Happy Hour

Langostinos is a popular restaurant bar to enjoy the sunset at Happy Hour. In view of the pier, Muelle de Playa Los Muertos, we enjoyed having drinks with friends and watched as the colourful lights on the pier danced in the evening light.
