Went to the Malecon last night to
see what happens in Puerto Vallarta Christmas eve. First we came upon a group
of children singing traditional Christmas carols (in Spanish) in the park, then
the large church bells at the Church of Our Lady Guadalupe were being rung,
manually, so we strolled up the street and observed part of the catholic
service that was just started. The church was packed. Our neighbours were
having their Christmas celebrations when we returned to our villa.

Marina Vallarta - Yachts and Christmas Decorations
Marina Vallarta is a five-minute
walk from our villa. Besides the beautiful yachts, there are numerous
restaurants, sports bars, spas and stores. Entrepreneurial vendors provide charters
to go whale watching, deep-sea fishing or whatever else you might like to do.
There are several condos surrounding the marina and it's a great place for a
walk
or simply spending time.
