Len Southward's passion and vision.

Just 45 minutes north from Wellington is Southward Car Museum - an iconic part of the Coast. Thanks to the vision and passion of Sir Len Southward, for 30 years people have come to view a private collection of cars, considered one of the best and biggest in the world.  The collection includes Marlene Dietrich’s Rolls Royce, a 1915 Stutz Racer, gull-winged Mercedes Benz, a Chicago Gangster’s armour plated limo, etc. Only when you step into the building will you realise why 40,000 people per year visit Southward.
