Naples, a city in southern Italy, sits on the Bay of Naples. Nearby is Mount Vesuvius, the still-active volcano that destroyed nearby Roman town Pompeii. During our short overnight stay in the harbour area, we visited the Castel dell'Ovo where there were some art exhibits and numerous interesting architectural features to photograph. It provided interesting views of the city and surrounding area. Later, we walked along the Via Partenope, a great place to people watch while enjoying a late afternoon refreshment.
