Our Viking cruise - Romantic Danube, was an 8-day journey on the "Blue Danube". Starting in Budapest, we visited Göttweig Abbey, one of Austria's most revered monastic centres, and Wachau Valley, Passau and a day excursion to Salzburg. We spent a day in Vienna and ended our trip in Nuremberg. The ship was beautifully appointed, the staff catered to our every need and the cruise line provided very knowledgeable guides at every location making our trip informative as well as scenic.
