Wellington at Ease Tour

Jim spent the day in a guided off-road quad bike expedition over one of New Zealand's most rugged coastal environments. Covering 12 miles of coastline and more than 60 miles of tracks, the excursion went from sea level up to 2,952 feet where the views were breathtaking. Unfortunately, he didn't have a camera.
Elaine toured Wellington, the capital city and third most populated urban area of New Zealand, after Auckland and Christchurch. It is at the southwestern tip of the North Island, between Cook Strait and the Rimutaka Range, and it is home to approximately 400,000 residents. The city was named after Arther Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington and victor of the Battle of Waterloo. The Duke's title comes from the town of Wellington in the English county of Somerset. It is New Zealand's political centre, housing Parliament, the head offices of all Government Ministries and Departments and the build of the foreign diplomatic missions in New Zealand.
