Our guests, Carol and Ron, thoroughly enjoyed an evening at Casa Isabel which provides one of the the finest views of Puerto Vallarta. The evening light fading into darkness was completed with a spectacular sunset. The meal was delicious and we finished it off with their famous flaming spanish coffee expertly created by our waiter, Carlos.

Casa Isabel Boutique Hotel
Casa Isabel Boutique Hotel was built by Dave and Isabel Manore, the owners of Madison Avenue Pub in Toronto, Canada. Dave, who loved to create, died in early 2009. The view from Casa Isabel is one of the most spectacular in Puerto Vallarta and we enjoyed going for dinner at their popular restaurant/bar.
Valentine's Dinner at Casa Isabel
Sam gave me a beautiful bouquet for Valentine's Day and later that evening we went to Casa Isabel for dinner. Afterwards we went for a walk on the Malecon where more Valentine's celebrations were taking place. A lovely evening.
The two authentic Talavera mugs were a gift from our neighbour whose mother came from the Puebla area of Mexico where they make this traditional pottery from the natural clay found there. It is distinguished by a milky-white glaze and the tradition of production goes back to the 16th century.
