Why is it called Hot Water Beach?

Hot springs surface at low tide. This is the only time Mother Nature allows you to see the springs, best time is usually two hours either side of low tide. You can dig your own hot pool, relax and soak your body in the thermal water. Hot water Beach is a popular surfing beach. Caution is advised due to dangerous undercurrents.
