After the first two hours of our second excursion to see the humpback whales, we thought it was going to be a bust until our captain received word from another boat that whales had been sighted. We quickly headed that way, and upon our arrival, we got the show of a lifetime. Two giant whales were breaching together! The next hour provided an unforgettable display of power. The whales were frolicking together with much tail slapping, breaching, sometimes landing upside down and swimming parallel to each other with their pectoral fins raised.
